Mark is a native Texan and has been an active participant in the investment community since 1995. He made his first investment as a college student and has over 20 years experience as a Registered Investment Advisor. He began his career as an investment research analyst and quickly advanced to a senior portfolio manager position at his prior firm before founding The Watchman Group in 2004.

Mark grew up in Plano and earned a BA in finance and economics from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1994. He lives with his wife and two children in Plano, where he serves on various non-profit boards in the community. Mark is an avid golfer and also enjoys traveling, reading, and coaching youth sports. A “people person,” Mark is truly passionate about helping others achieve financial success and security.
